As a mediocre thriller, "Ravanasura," starring Ravi Teja, falls short. The movie makes use of well-known allusions like the Joker and Breaking Bad to explore the idea of good vs evil. Although there is promise for a suspenseful thriller with grey areas, the execution is poor. Despite some interesting turns and moments, the suspense quickly wears off, and the characters' backstories seem forced. The lack of dread or empathy elicited by the movie makes for a dissatisfying viewing experience.
