The ancient Ramayana story is attempted to be brought to life on screen in the movie Adipurush, but it is utterly mishandled and fails terribly. The movie's star-studded cast couldn't save it from its poor VFX, storyline, and dialogue. The movie lacks coherence, depth, and emotion, and it makes frequent use of cliches and stereotypes. The movie meanders on for almost three hours, which puts spectators' patience to the strain. Ajay-Atul's music is similarly passable but unmemorable. Overall, Adipurush is a monumental letdown that fails to live up to either the expectations or the original material.
