We all are well aware of The Batman's Childhood, how his Parents died, insights of Gotham City, Batman Family's Legacy and so on... So nothing new to mention Super specially. But there is a Brilliant point where no one is focusing, Batman is actually a great Detective in the Comics but in the Movies, his detective skills are foreshadowed. When it comes to Pattinson's The Batman Director Matt Reeves Sir tried to explore Detective stuff but still those detective scenes are not very impactful. Robert Pattinson as Batman is apt and he did his part with an ease. Riddlers Character is interesting but should have been handled in a much better way. Collin Farrell as Penguin delivered a Good performance, the Prosthetic make up is impressive. Action Sequences are top notch especially the Car Sequence will give you High. Cinematography by Greig Fraser is Excellent👏, Sound design is Amazing👌and Editing was Good. DC movies are generally Dark in tone but The Batman also followed the same. My Bottom Lines: It's a Good watch but not as great as the Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy

its been a while the Batman and his Nemesis have been turned dark since Christopher Nolan's take on Gotham City. But, now its transformed to much more Gothic that we, Bat friends cant take anymore. Hollywood!!! Please bring back the classic Psychological Bat. Sorry to disagree with Riya!!

The movie is a deconstruction of the superhero genre.

The Batman is a film worth giving 10 stars. I couldn't fault it. The fact that you are sitting in theaters for 3 hours & don't realise it is a clear sign of amazing direction. It deserves allllll the hype & is hands down one of the best movies I've ever watched.

From the first scene itself, it is made clear the amount of thought, work and creativity that has gone into the making of this movie.

Hands down the best Batman film I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking for your typical Bruce Wayne storyline here don’t bother because this movie takes Batman to a whole different level. This is an edge of your seat crime/mystery thriller that doesn’t leave you feeling unsatisfied and any point in the film. The acting was top notch, the plot was top notch, the scores and scenery were top notch. Overall a perfect movie in my humble opinion.

Initially I was not convinced enough seeing Robert Pattinson as the new Batman but as soon as I got out of the theatre my POV was completely changed about the film. The movie plot was just Amazing, the character development, the cinematography was outstanding and the movie overall just reignited my hopes regarding DC's amazing characters and their future.

It really ...More Helpful? • 9 people found this helpful. siddhant raizada 2 weeks ago         From the first scene itself, it is made clear the amount of thought, work and creativity that has gone into the making of this movie. This movie will scare you, indulge you in its mystery, excite you with its action and amaze you with its commitment to telling a truly dark and gritty tale about the corruption in Gotham. Matt Reeves has done masterful work in directing each scene. He is a point of view driven director. There are many shots in this movie where he puts you in the character's shoes and shows the world from his point of view and how the world perceives him. As Batman enters the crime scene you are put in his POV and can see how much each and every police officer sees him as a menace and doesn't want him to be there. This really helps establish the world and the relationship within in a very subtle way. He also has wonderfully implemented some scenes of horror and thriller which were unexpected and had given way to some nailbiting and riveting scenes! (I think I forgot to breathe during the Batmobile chase scene) All the Matt Reeves direction has been enhanced by Greg Fraser's camerawork. Gotham is very dark and gritty but never feels dead. Unlike so many other movies, he allowed blacks to be actual black and not shades of grey and then dialled up the contrast allowing the colours to pop! Orange and blue colour has such amazing interplay between them and completely suits the dark depressing setting of Gotham. Michael Giacchino's score for The Batman is his best work yet. As the film picks up in terms of action, you can start hearing little hints of Dum-Da-Dum-Dum pick up and you just know things are going to get intense. Other than the adrenaline-filled main theme he through his soundtrack is very well able to showcase moments of mystery, emotion and romance (Yes, this movie has romance!) This might have been the least amount of talking done by The Batman in any of the Batman movies because Robert Pattinson is so well able to display emotions through his body language and expressions. Pattinson brings in a different take on Bruce Wayne, who is depressed and a little eccentric. A billionaire who has travelled the world to gather knowledge and is always analysing his surrounding is bound to be an introvert and kind of a recluse and this is very well showcased by him. Robert has done an amazing job. Talking about side characters there were loads of them and each one of them has done an amazing job. For me, the stand-out was definitely Penguin and Catwoman. The story is a straight-up murder mystery thriller where Batman and Gordon are sent on a hunt by Riddler which reveals the deep dark secret of Gotham Elites including Batman's own past. Without spoiling much the story plays out very much like Se7en, Zodiac and The Long Halloween comic book. This allows the world's greatest detective to actually do some detective work and you get lost in that journey to trying to piece all the different puzzle pieces. The Batman is not a good story because it's an indulging murder mystery but because it allows the characters within to grow as well. As Batman, Catwoman, Alfred and Penguin are caught in the middle of these murders they all grow as a character in their own way which makes me excited for the sequel. Finally, I would like to say in a world where most of the comic-book movies now seem like a painting of scenery you have seen a thousand times being sold in Walmart, here is a movie that is something that is hung on the entrance of a downtown museum brought to life by Picasso.

This movie's everything a Batman fan could've asked for. This is really the first batman movie where it feels like batman himself is "The Main Attraction". Bruce doing the actual investigative work is what made the Batman so phenomenal to me.

Fabulous movie!!! Loved it! Robert Pattinson has done a fantastic job. Amazing cast each one performed incredibly well. Story line was absolutely brilliant and intelligent. What I loved about this movie was unlike the previous movies, here we see Batman caught up in a few vulnerable circumstances ( one being a scene where his jump landing isn't perfect) and his expressions in such scenes are portrayed really well. His reactions depict the basic human responses unlike the typical superhero expected ones. This was very classy. Selina and Gordon were brilliant and stuntwork was spectacular! Some scenes were absolutely mind blowing! Humor was subtle but good. Do hope that in subsequent movies a little more humor is added. Overall an outstanding movie and a must watch.

The Batman is absolutely fantastic film with so much detail about the Gotham City and it's underworld. The film delivers a much darker tone to the Gotham City and even more darker batman which is never seen before. Robert Pattinson as the modern batman is stunning and fantastic to watch as he puts the cape on himself. A young bruce Wayne who has just got the legacy of the Wayne's trying to fit into the world of Gotham underbelly is exciting to watch. Colin Farrell as penguin is outstanding to watch though he has smaller role to play in the film. Paul Dano as the Riddler strikes fear into your heart with his riddle and with his kills. The bgm and cinematography of the film is stunning and is a must watch for all dc and batman lovers in the cinemahall!

The hype is real! This definitely is the best Batman film since The Dark Knight and one of the most brilliantly shot and sound-designed superhero films ever! Robert Pattinson is an adequate Batman and a less than adequate Bruce Wayne, with some character inconsistencies in the way he uses his Batman-voice . But all that can be forgiven , considering the superbly detailed and layered story which makes the city of Gotham a very compelling character in itself! An absolute Must-Watch, this movie practically begs to be seen in the theatres!!! Vengeance never looked so gorgeous!
