The show is gritty and grim and ominous to the extreme...it's the mix of power and politics and every thing in between...and the language...but the show grips you tight...on a gun point of course 🙂
The iron-fisted Akhandanand Tripathi is a millionaire carpet exporter and the mafia don of Mirzapur. His son, Munna, is an unworthy, power-hungry heir who will stop at nothing to inherit his father's legacy. An incident at a wedding procession forces him to cross paths with Ramakant Pandit, an upstanding lawyer, and his sons, Guddu and Bablu. It snowballs into a game of ambition, power and greed that threatens the fabric of this lawless city.

Gangster/God father stuff. Must watch for audience interested in that genre.
It's like the Desi GOT. 🙂 it's an engaging series about local gang wars.. it has two interesting seasons. But it has too much violence, so be careful if watching with family. Pankaj Tripathy is really awesome in his character. enjoy the show...its worth binge watching.
